Godspeed can be likened to the English word Godly, it simply means a life of speed propelled by God’s divine will and purpose. If you seek a life speed orchestrated by God, then you need to read and pray with these powerful bible verses on Godspeed.

Godspeed Verses in the Bible

Genesis 24:12 : “And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.”

2 John 1:10: “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:” This verse and the succeeding verse 11 which states “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” are the only verses of the bible where the word Godspeed was used as a warning to believers to beware of bearers of heresies and adulterated gospel.

Joshua 1:8 – “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” This is golden! Divine guidance to success only comes from constantly meditating in the word of God and living a life of constant fellowship with the Father.

3 John 1:2 – “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” The perfect desire of God for us is to be in health, and I pray by the decree of heaven that truly according to God’s divine will for our lives, All will be well and our souls will prosper. Amen.

Proverbs 16:3 – “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” It is not enough to trust in your human strength and logic, bringing God into the equation by committing all to Him is our antidote to Failure as God’s children.

Psalm 1:3 – “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” For this verse to be clearer we had to bring along the message from verses 1 and 2 which says “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” That was necessitated by some enumerated conditions to be a fruit-bearing believer as stated in verse 3. The conditions include avoiding companionship with the ungodly and sneerers (people who despise God’s word) and having an unbending interest in knowing and keeping the commandments of the Lord fearfully.

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” God is the source of our strength to do the extraordinary.

Genesis 26:12 – “And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him,” As you make efforts towards attainment the Lord will water your efforts and eventually you will be blessed, Amen.

Deuteronomy 15: 10 – “Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.” The Lord promises to bless our works and every effort of our hands and that when we commit to the Lord in service or giving, we do it joyfully and heartily because He has done us Good.

Deuteronomy 11: 24 – “Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.” This is a massive promise from our God! The Lord is saying to you today that “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24 vs 1) so without any iota of limitation in your heart, you should say,  like Caleb and Joshua “…Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13: 30)

Daniel 6:3 – “Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other presidents and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.” I pray for you reading this verse right now, that the Lord will put in you a spirit of Excellence, I shut down every power hold minusing from your pool of greatness in Jesus name, Amen.

Daniel 1:20 – “And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his kingdom.”

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Psalm 118:25 – “Save us, we pray, O Lord! O Lord, we pray, give us success!”

Psalm 112:3 – “Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.” Kai! This is revealing, there is unlimited wealth in constant Fellowship with God, No wonder Deuteronomy 8: 18 says “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

Proverbs 22: 29 – “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; He shall not stand before mean men.” God expects diligence from His people as proved to us in the story of Creation: “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day” (Exodus 20:11). Believers are not to sit idly expecting things to work out itself. That’s why I so much love the next verse.

Romans 12: 1 – “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” Striking a balance is what makes a dynamic believer, we are diligent not only in our earthly professions but also in spirit (constant fellowship with the Father) and going about the Father’s business (Evangelism, soul-winning and discipleship)

Proverbs 28:25 – “A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched.” Greediness is a tool in the hands of the devil, it shows how distant a man’s heart is when it comes to trusting in God. A sorry example is gamblers, They violate the laws of due process and trust in the failed world systems to get wealth.

Deuteronomy 8:18 – ““And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Isaiah 48:17 – “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.’”

Haggai 2:19 – “Is the seed yet in the barn? Indeed, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have yielded nothing. But from this day on I will bless you.”

Zechariah 8:13 – “And as you have been a byword of cursing among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong.’”

Malachi 3:10 – “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
