1. Proverbs 6:9-11

This passage of scripture is a timely warning to believers on the matter of laziness. It is an admonition to people who like to remain in their comfort zone, people who feel best in their sluggardly and excessive sleep.
The Bible clearly states that people who are idling away often lack the diligence and willpower to get things done and push hard when it comes to achieving a goal or setting a record for themselves.
The grave consequence of this is poverty and incessant want, which may come forcefully and unexpectedly. As believers, the Lord wants us to say like the Apostle Paul “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Soloman the man of Wisdom inspired by God is saying that you need to break free from those chains of comfort, and then take clues from the tiny creatures – ants, without a commander or anyone to push him here and there inspired and organized itself to gather ahead of the rainy days.
