Lawyers and judges are one of the most critical offices in the world system today, they exist in every cline bearing the weighty responsibility of upholding truth, and fairness in matters brought before them.
A professional lawyer is expected to display unwavering integrity at all times, with a track record of deep understanding of the laws and constitutional guidelines of the land, and thus skillfully advocating for justice in every matter.
Judges are entrusted with the solemn duty of rendering impartial decisions and navigating legal complexities with wisdom.
They are expected to be people driven with compassion; Upholding ethical standards as they act as guardians of societal order.
No doubt they will be confronted with several challenges, especially from the pressures of winning cases to the moral dilemmas that often ensue in a complex legal terrain. This is why it is important to say prayers for the lawyers and judges in our society.
That the good Lord, will help them to incessantly align with God’s demand for holiness and righteousness, and they will not stop seeking divine guidance in every legal pursuit.

1. Dear Heavenly Father, I am sincerely grateful for the professional call and mandate you have placed on me to be a lawyer. Dear Lord, I have a request to make, just as you’re a just and sincere judge, you also help me to uphold the Law in truth and defend it heartily,
2. Lord Jesus, I pray that you do take not away your Holy Spirit from me for guidance, and proper counsel as I have determined to serve the people with a humble heart and just mind.
3. Dear Lord, Help me to deal with every client in fairness, and upholding justice will be my constant source of inspiration and compass.

4. Lord Jesus, Let it be all times that my actions will reflect Your justice and godly compassion. In Your holy name, Amen.

Micah 6:8:“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”
Prayer: A prayer that our judges will judge justly and also in mercy without compromising on any grounds and that the Lord will help them to work humbly with God.
Psalm 37:30-31: “The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.”
Prayer: Lord Jesus, inspire me and teach me to constantly seek judgment justly. That my eyes will not be closed to the needs of the oppressed and that of the fatherless, and that Lord you will be my source of empowerment to be a voice for people who are unable to speak for themselves.

Proverbs 31:8-9: “Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Prayer: Pray that the Lord will inspire you to judge righteously while having in mind the predicament and need of your poor clients, that every matter will be administered from a standpoint of justice and righteousness by His eternal grace.
Prayer: I asked dear Lord Jesus that you will create in me a heart that thirsts and hunger for your righteousness and that my heart will be charged with a passion to continuously uphold justice in a world that is ridden of any.
Matthew 5:6: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
Prayer: Father Lord, I come before you right now asking for grace to constantly prioritize justice and judgment over the ephemeral things of this world and rites. Lord, I need You to help me act discernfully to maintain justice in every case and to always please You only in my thoughts, actions, and words.
Proverbs 21:3: “To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.”
Prayer: My Father and Saviour, I bring before you the helpless and the needy, that you will fill me with grace and strength to plead their cause and to seek justice on their behalf as it pleases You.
Psalm 82:3-4: “Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.”
My Lord, I ask in prayer today, that by Your Grace that never runs dry; I will be an instrument of deliverance to the oppressed and liberation to those whose peace and freedom are currently being trampled; that I will be bold and confident enough to confront injustice at every instance in Jesus’ name, Amen.
